Health and Wellness

Would you like to volunteer for this committee?

Goals and Objectives

The purpose of the Health & Wellness Committee is to bring information to the school community that supports and promotes the physical, emotional, and social health and well being of children and families. It is a small committee made up of Newman parents and staff including our physical education teachers and the assistant principal. We also solicit input from our school nurse, the food service department and various other professionals as needed.

Events

Each year we sponsor the annual Mayrathon event – the run/walk/jog around the Newman version of the Boston Marathon that raises money for charity.

Volunteer Responsibility

The Health & Wellness Committee is still evolving and welcomes new members.
